Shipping Policy

Meat Online border

  • Shipping costs will be calculated based on your specific state and suburb location.
  • Shipping is based on calculated rates per region; however, remote and rural areas may have different rates.
  • All products and prices quoted are for delivery within Australia only, transported via refrigerated and frozen vehicles that comply with current Australian food safety standards and regulations.
  • GST is applicable to all quoted shipping rates.
  • If no one is available to accept the delivery, your order will be returned to our cold store and re-delivered the following day (subject to location). An additional re-delivery fee will apply, based on the original order.
  • Deliveries are made Monday to Friday and are not available on weekends or public holidays.
  • To qualify for next-day delivery, your order must be placed by 10:00 AM the day prior. Orders placed after this time will be shipped the following day. This applies to all city metropolitan areas only.
  • For metropolitan deliveries on Monday morning, all orders must be placed by 10:00 AM on Friday of the previous week. Orders placed over the weekend will be delivered on Tuesday.
  • For specific delivery requirements, please note them under the “Instructions” section in the payment processing area when submitting your order.
  • For our Northern Territory customers, the freight term POA stands for “Price On Application.”
  • Enjoy free direct freight to all metropolitan customers, and free freight to regional customers at their chosen metro transport depot (please note, forwarding to your regional location is at your own expense).

    A minimum order of 3 cartons of any Meat Online product is required to qualify for this free metro freight delivery offer.

  • A pick-up option from our cold storage facility is available in certain states. Please enquire to see if you’re eligible.

Pricing Policy

All our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD), and GST is charged where applicable. Product prices are updated daily or hourly based on the current market prices of livestock and varying levels of demand in global food markets.

We accept all major credit cards, including American Express. Please note that Amex cardholders will incur a 1% credit card surcharge on their orders.

Please note: All orders on Meat Online require a minimum spend of $300 and a minimum of 3 cartons per order.

Refund Policy

Please choose carefully, as we do not normally accept returns or offer refunds if you change your mind, make the wrong decision, or store the product incorrectly. As our products are perishable, it is essential to store them promptly in appropriate refrigerated or frozen conditions to ensure their shelf life. Adherence to the cold chain is paramount.

If you experience any issues with your order, please contact our sales representatives at 1300 59 69 39. It is important to notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order. Any issues reported after this time may not result in a refund or return. If a return is approved, the goods must be sent back in their original carton and stored in the appropriate refrigerated or frozen conditions. Cold chain adherence is paramount.

Shelf life may vary depending on the brand and age of the product. If you have any questions, please contact the customer service center in your state. We encourage you to carefully check your order at the time of placement and delivery, ensuring it is delivered in a refrigerated or frozen state relative to the ordered product. It is your responsibility to store the product correctly in refrigerated or frozen conditions as per the processor’s recommendations, generally described on the side of the carton, within an appropriate time frame.


Payment Terms & Conditions

At the time of checkout, you will receive an order confirmation with an estimate of the total order quantity and price. Please note that this is only an estimate.

Your items will be weighed, and you will receive a tax invoice and be charged based on the actual carton weight of the product.

Your credit card number will be stored securely on the Westpac Payway Gateway for the purpose of processing the payment of your tax invoice.

For all customers paying by credit card, if your order payment is unsuccessful, it will be held until payment is confirmed.

Customers paying via direct debit can set up payments with a 0–7 day processing period. Direct debit forms are available on our website under “About” on the homepage, or you can contact our team at 1300 596 939 or info@meatonline.com.au.

For existing customers who have set up direct debit with Meat Online and change banks, please notify our team as soon as possible. You will need to submit an updated form so we can update your details in our system. If you’re using the direct debit payment system for the first time, completed forms must be received and approved before your order is processed. If a payment via this system bounces, a $10.00 administration fee will be charged, and you will need to provide an alternative payment solution to cover the outstanding payment within 24 hours.

Late cancellation of your order: If an order is cancelled within 24 hours of placing it, a 10% restocking fee will apply. In case of an emergency, please contact our team, and we will work out a solution that works for both parties.
